Let's Obey His Word

"The days of the blameless are known to the Lord and their inheritance will endure(지속되다) forever. In times of disaster they will not wither, in days of famine they will enjoy plenty" (Ps.37:18-19).

In these days everyone is talking about the financial crisis. Every country is facing the financial problems. All the people around the world are afraid of what is happening in the United States and other well developed countries. I am not going to tell the frightening news that is bombarding us everyday, but to strengthen your faith I am going to tell you what God has said us in the Bible.

You and me know that financial crisis have come and gone. But God's people who truly trust the Lord, who obey the God's word, they prospered both in the times of plenty and in times of lack. God's hand is always on his children. According to His Word, his hand is always revealed in time of lack.

If we go through the story of Isaac in Genesis 26. Isaac prospered supernaturally and miraculously whiles King Abimelech and the Philistine all around suffered great loss and famine. Isaac was not affected not even for one minute instead he was prospered.

What God did for Isaac,

He did with Abraham previously and then he did it again with Jacob after word and repeatedly did with his people Israel. And still today He is repeating this with his people. The people who love God, who walk with God, who obey God's word and who give for God, God is opening his hand for them even this worst time when all countries are facing financial crisis.

So being children of God we don't have to worry about anything because he will satisfy us even in the time of famine and financial crisis. Because Bible says in Ps. 37:4-5

"Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desire of your heart

Commit your ways to the Lord, trust in him and he will do this"

What God has done, He still does. What God has done he will continue to do. This is the time not to fear but this is the time to trust and rejoice in our Lord Christ. Because his promises are true and they cannot fail. His promises are eternal. These financial crisis and economic problems are not here to affect us or harm us. These are not here to separate us from Christ but these are here to strengthen our faith. That's why Paul says in Rom.8:35

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

God wants to prosper you and bless you. It's God's plan for you. All he is looking for, your obedience. Bible said in Jer. 17:7-8,

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, Whose confidence in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes, its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit"

And also did He not promised in Malachi that he would open the windows of heaven that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

God wants to bless you. He wants to give you abundantly. The thing that he wants form you are, trust in him and obey his word. Obey his word then God will bless you. Through obedience Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Israelites, were blessed. They obeyed the God's command first then God blessed them.

Through obedience Israelites took the wealth of Egyptians. It is our obedience that moves God's hand. So today if you want that this coming year God bless you, and he give you more, then obey his word.

Then he will bless you and He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings you will find refuge. And during these financial crises you will be prospered. Because God said in the Bible,

"The lions may grow weak and hungry but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing."

So start obeying his word. Then he will give you abundantly and no plague will come near to your tent. Because God will be your shield. He will be your protector. Then these economic crisis and financial problems will not come near to you. The world around you will face these financial problems but during this time you will be blessed. You will not lack anything. Because God will provide you everything. That's why Paul said,

"He who did not spare his own son but gave him up for us all, how he will not also, along with him, graciously gives us all things"

So brothers and sisters, this coming year, let's raise our prayers and start obeying the God's command and open our hand for Him. Then he will also open his heaven for you. Although in 2009, people around you will face the financial crisis but this will not affect you. Because God will be with you and he will bless you. It is His promise for you and me. And His promises are eternal.

So if you want that 2009 will be a blessed year for you then lets pray and obey the God command. Thanks

요즘 사람마다 경제위기에 대하여 말하고 있다. 모든 나라들은 경제적 문제에 면해 있다. 전 세계에 있는 모든 사람들이 미국과 다른 발전된 나라에서 어떤 일이 벌어질지에 대해서 두려워 하고 있다. 나는 이 날마다 우리를 공격하는 무서운 뉴스에 대해서 말하려는 것이 아니다. 그러나 당신의 믿음을 강하게 하기 위하여 하나님이 성경을 통하여 우리에게 무엇이라 말씀하시는가 하는 것을 당신에게 말하려고 한다.

당신과 나는 경제위기가 왔다가 간다는 것을 알고 있다. 그러나 주님을 신뢰하고 하나님의 말씀을 순종하는 하나님의 사람은 그들은 풍성할 때나 궁핍할 때나 부족함이 없다. 하나님의 손이 항상 그의 자녀들위에 있고 그의 말씀을 따라 부족할 때에도 항상 그의 손길을 드러내고 계신다.

만일 우리가 창세기 26장에 나오는 이삭이 아비멜렉 왕과 블레셋의 기근의 큰 손해로 아주 힘든 동안 초자연적이고 기적적으로 성공한 이야기를 통하여 보도록 한다.

하나님은 전에 아브라함과 함께 하였고 다시 말씀으로 지속적으로 야곱과 함께 하시고 그후에 계속하여 이스라엘 백성과 함께 하셨다. 그리고 오늘 여전히 그는 그의 백성과 함께 하셨다. 하나님을 사랑하고 하나님과 함께 동행하고 하나님의 말씀에 순종하고 하나님을 위하여 드리는 백성은 모든 나라가 경제위기를 당하고 있는 최악의 때에라도 하나님은 여전히 그들을 위하여 당신의 손을 펼치신다.

그러므로 하나님의 자녀된 우리는 아무것도 걱정하지 말아야 한다. 왜냐하면 그것은 우리가 굶주리고 경제위기를 당한 때에라도 그가 우리에게 채워주시기 때문이다. 성경의 시편 37:4-5절에

그러므로 주안에서 너는 기뻐하라 그가 너의 마음의 소원을 이루어 주시리라

너의 길을 여호와께 맡기라 그를 의지하면 그가 이루실 것이다.

하나님은 이미 행하셨고 계속 행하고 있다. 하나님이 행하신 일을 그는 계속해서 행할 것이다. 지금은 두려움의 때가 아니라 우리 주 그리스도안에서 신뢰와 즐거워하는 때이다. 그분의 약속은 신실하고 그것은 실패할수 없기 때문이다. 그의 약속은 영원하다. 이 금융위기와 경제문제는 여기에서 우리에게 해를 끼치거나 영향줄 수 없다. 이러한 것이 우리를 그리스도로부터 갈라놓을 수 없고 우리의 믿음을 굳세게 할 뿐이다. 이것이 바울이 로마서 8장 35절에서 말한 이유이다.

누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊을수 있는가? 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴?

하나님은 당신에 복주시기를 원하신다. 이것은 하나님이 당신을 향한 계획이다. 그분이 찾고 있는 모든 것은 바로 당신의 순종이다. 예레미아 17:7-8절에서

하나님을 의지하고 여호와를 신뢰하는 그 사람은 복을 받을 것이다. 물가에 심겨진 나무가 그 뿌리를 강변에 뻗치고 더위가 올지라도 두려워하지 아니하며 그 잎이 청청하며 가무는 해에도 걱정이 없고 결실이 그치지 아니함 같으리라

그리고 말라기에서 그가 하늘창을 열고 복을 쌓을 곳이 없도록 부어주겠다고 약속하지 않으셨냐

하나님은 당신을 축복하기 원하신다. 그분은 당신에게 풍성하게 주시기를 원한다. 그분이 당신에게서 원하는 것은 그분을 신뢰하고 그분의 말씀에 순종하는 것이다. 그분의 말씀에 순종하면 하나님은 당신에게 복 주실것이다. 아브라함, 이삭, 야곱 그리고 이스라엘백성은 순종을 통하여 복을 받았다. 그들이 하나님의 계명을 먼저 순종하여 하나님은 그들에게 복 주셨다.

이스라엘은 순종을 통하여 이집트의 재물을 가질수 있었다. 하나님의 손을 움직이게 하는 것은 바로 우리의 순종이다. 그러므로 오늘 당신이 만일 이제 오는 해에 하나님의 축복을 받기 원하고 더 많은 것으로 당신에게 주시기를 원하면 그분의 말씀에 순종하십시오.

그러면 하나님은 당신을 축복해 주실것이고 사냥군의 덫 그리고 죽음에 이르는 질병에서 구원 할 것이다. 그는 그분의 깃털로 당신을 덮을 것이고 그분의 날개 아래에서 당신은 안식을 찾을 것이다. 금융위기동안 당신은 오히려 번영할 것이다. 그것은 하나님이 성경을 통하여 말씀하셨기 때문이다.

사자는 연약하고 굶주리게 될지라도 하나님을 찾는 사람은 부족함이 없을 것이다.

그러므로 그분의 말씀에 순종하기 시작하세요. 그러면 그분은 당신에게 풍성하게 주시고 당신의 집에 재앙이 임하지 않을 것입니다. 그것은 하나님이 당신의 방패가 되고 그는 당신의 보호자가 되기 때문입니다. 그러면 이 경제위기와 금융문제는 당신에게 가까이 임하지 못할 것입니다. 세상에 있는 모든 사람들은 이러한 금융문제에 부딪히지만 이 시간이 당신에게는 오히려 축복이 될것입니다. 당신은 부족함이 없을 것입니다. 하나님께서 당신의 모든 것을 공급하시기 때문입니다. 바울이 말한 이유이기도 합니다. “독생자 아들을 아끼지 않고 우리 모두를 위하여 주심과 같이 그가 모든 것을 허락하지 아니하겠느냐?

그러므로 형제자매 여러분, 오는 해에 우리의 기도을 일으키고 하나님의 명령을 순종하고 하나님을 향해 우리의 팔을 벌립시다. 그러면 그분도 당신을 위해 그의 하늘문을 열것이다. 비록 2009년에 당신의 주위에 있는 사람들이 금융위기에 부딪히지만 이러한 것들은 당신에게 영향을 주지 못할 것이다.그것은 하나님이 당신과 함께 하고 당신을 축복하시기 때문이다. 이것은 당신과 나를 향한 하나님의 약속이다. 그분의 약속은 영원하다.

그러므로 만일 당신이 2009년을 복된 한해로 만들려면 기도하고 하나님의 명령에 순종하라. 감사합니다.
